Clash of Clans Pets Guide List of All Pets & Their Powers

Clash of Clans Pets Guide: List of All Pets & Their Powers

Pets were introduced in the Clash of Clans a few years ago. Since then, the Pets have become a fan-favorite troop among the players.

Unlike some other games, the pets in CoC are not just cosmetics but actually support the heroes in battle. The CoC pets feature special abilities & play a key role in helping you win the battles.

In this guide, we will look at “What are the Clash of Clans Pets” & their role. Next up, we will look at all the different types of Clash of Clans Pets available right now!

What Are Clash of Clans Pets?

Pets are different from normal troops as they are always available & don’t need regeneration. One pet can be assigned to one hero & is only used for attack.

The CoC Pets have just one job: Support the HERO. The pets in Clash of Clans have no role in defending the village from the incoming attacks.

How to unlock Pets? Once you reach the Town Hall (TH) 14, you can construct the Pet House building & unlock L.A.S.S.I (1st pet).

If you have lost your CoC account or do not want to start from scratch, you should buy new Clash of Clans account.

List of All Pets & Their Abilities in Clash of Clans

You can unlock new pets by upgrading the Pet House building. Let’s look at all the pets available in Clash of Clans and their powers:

1. L.A.S.S.I (High Jumper)

L.A.S.S.I becomes available after the construction of the Pet House. L.A.S.S.I have an attack range of 2.5 tiles and will stay near the paired hero.

But if the hero has been removed or knocked out, L.A.S.S.I start to act on its own & will attack the nearest buildings. The L.A.S.S.I have the “High Jumper” ability, allowing her to jump over walls!

2. Electro Owl (High Voltage)

The Electro Owl in CoC is unlocked after upgrading the Pet House to lvl 2. With the “High Voltage” ability, Electro Owl can zap the enemy from a distance.

Electro Owl (pet) is an air unit and uses the lightning attack. The Owl attacks the same target which is being targeted by the hero.

3. Mighty Yak

The Mighty Yak can be accessed by upgrading Pet house to lvl 3. You can think of the Mighty Yak as a siege machine as it can easily destroy walls.

Mighty Yak is a tough pet due to its really high health bar. This pet also has a stunning surprise: It can deal 20x more damage to the walls!

4. Unicorn (Healer)

Unicorn is a very useful pet in Clash of Clans as it acts as a personal healer. The Unicorn heals the hero during the battle & can prove to be a game-changer.

You can unlock healer pet by reaching the Pet House lvl 4. One thing which makes the Unicorn better than the healers is that it heals all units (Air+Ground). But what if there are no units to heal? The Unicorn will stay stationary and take damage.

5. Frosty (Freeze)

Frosty becomes available at the TH lvl 15 and Pet House lvl 5. As the name implies, Frosty literally freezes the enemies with his icy breath.

Frosty deals damage to the enemies & also slows them down. Frosty Pet also releases swarm of Frostmites, which slows down the enemies.

6. Diggy

Pet House (level 6) & TH level 15 are requirements for Diggy. The Diggy’s attack is similar to the miner: It digs underground to attack troops and buildings. This special ability allows the Diggy to bypass walls.

Royal Champion is the ideal hero to pair with Diggy as he also prioritizes defences. Just like all the other pets, Diggy also has 10 upgrade levels requiring increasing amounts of Dark Elixir.

7. Poison Lizard (Bad Breath)

Poison Lizards attack enemies by spiting toxins (venom) at the enemies. These blobs of poison slow down the enemies while also dealing consistent damage.

The Poison Lizard in Clash of Clans is available in Pet House Level 7. This pet doesn’t discriminate between troops and heroes, So it attacks them both! The Poison Lizard pet can be paired with the Grand Warden or Barbarian King.

8. Phoenix (Fiery Finale)

The Phoenix unlocks at the level 8 of Pet House. The Phoenix pet gives the heroes one more fighting chance or a fiery finale! This pet starts the battle in the form of an egg and hatches when the hero is close to being eliminated.

After hatching from the egg, the Phoenix will grant invulnerability to the hero for a few seconds. It also engages with the nearby enemies from the sky.

9. Spirit Fox (Spirit Walk)

Spirit Fox Pet is very interesting as it grants invisibility to both the hero and himself.

The pet and the hero remain invisible for a certain duration before the cooldown. The invisibility kicks in again after a cooldown period of 6 seconds.

For offensive strategy, the Royal Champion & Barbarian King are the best heroes for Spirit Fox in CoC.

10. Angry Jelly (Brainwash)

The Angry Jelly in CoC is unlocked after upgrading the Pet House to Level 10. This pet brainwashes the hero into attacking only the defences for a specified duration.

The Angry Jelly also joins the hero in destroying the daefences. Given the abilities, the best heroes to pair are Barbarian King and Grand Warden.
